On a very sad note, on December 5, 2005, our classmate, Carolyn "Carey" Kadota Laktineh ended her battle with breast cancer. Due to her illness, she was unable to be with us in October. Our prayers are with her family. The notice of her passing. (Chicago Tribune.)
